The Team arrived in Dominican Republic with a big surprise- No Bags! After waiting in the airport for three hours all the bags except one arrived on a later flight. The one lost bag was delivered to our ministry location the following day. The three hour bus ride from the airport to San Juan de la Maguana was packed and every was tired from a long day of travel.
On Monday the team toured the city and traveled to the country to visit the people and church in which they will be working. In the evening everyone worked hard to prepare a Vacation Bible School program which will be presented at the church Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Everyon is excited to meet and share Jesus with the children of the community.

Hi. In 2004 a team representing 4 churches from Cincinnati worked in San Juan de la Maguana. Hard physical work and wonderful church services nightly. The people we met were warm and friendly and touched us all. Glad to hear that a team from Ohio is there now. God bless you. It amazed me how little I felt I gave but how much I was able to receive from these folks. Ralph
