The DR Needs Love
The D.R. is a country carved out of the sugar cane fields. It is rich in history and possibilities for those coming to visit. It is also a place desperate for Jesus. Since 2005 Miguel and Kristina de Santiago have been living in the D.R. bringing the hope and the love of Christ to the people there. The Santiagos are long-term missionaries that Adventures sent out. They live in San Juan de la Maguana and have been working to build churches in the surrounding community. While you are in the Dominican Republic working with the Santiago’s you can help facilitate VBS for the local kids. You can do some painting projects for the churches and peoples’ homes. While doing all of this you get to share God’s love with a hopeless people. Prayerfully consider taking a trip to minister alongside the Shaul’s in the Dominican Republic.
